HALL EFFECT EXPERIMENT
The resistivity measurements of semiconductors cannot reveal whether one or two types of carriers arepresent; nor distinguish between them. However, this information can be obtained from Hall Coefficientmeasurements, which are also basic tools for thedetermination of carrier density and mobilities inconjunction with resistivity measurement.
